Our R&D forces consist of two plants located in Shibukawa (Gunma Prefecture) and Mizushima (Okayama Prefecture) and Research & Development Center in their vicinity, which are promoting R&D efforts in tandem with the head office functions -the Development Planning Department, the New Business Development ＆ Promotion Department, the Research and Intellectual Property Department, and the Semiconductor Materials Development Department- with the aim of being a Creative Development-Driven Company.

With the aim of creating new businesses that will forge the future of us, this laboratory is working on the development of next-generation materials that will contribute to the target fields by advancing our core technologies, while promoting the development of organic-inorganic hybrid materials and other materials.

This laboratory works mainly on the development of carriers and fluorinated functional materials.

This laboratory works mainly on the development of battery materials -our core business- while promoting the development of high-value-added products using fluorine and chlorine.

This department works on the development of specialty gases, our core business.
